Dark garnet color in the glass. A very expressive nose with aromas of currants and blueberries. Extremely fruit forward with tastes of currents, black cherries, and dark chocolate The tannins are slightly grippy but nicely integrated. This is a bold wine that should be delightful in 20 years but is outstanding today.
