Deep red thick color with some haze that leaves quite a lot of residue at bottom of decanter; deep dark thick nose of raspberries, black cherries, blueberries, spices and wildflowers; very structured with high alcohol, acids and tannins (but not overpowering), Chateauneuf-style with a bit more neutral oak; long satisfying chestburning finish with chocolate and dried fruit. Very well made, great today but I predict great development in the cellar.
