Huge hit. Was that a Syrah from the old world? Nope but could have convinced me. Lots of tar, black berries and plum. We’ll balanced acidity. R=8.9 S=8.8

2nd of 3 (max) grocery store wines in Santiago; at $6 locally this is a nice value. An unusual blend but works. No oak, but no nose, no aromatics no length. Good for hosting parties with infrequent wine drinkers, I guess, but not sure why this wine averages 9.1 here. It's not special.
