Fresh. Purple berries, relatively soft tannins, integrated oak and vanilla. Really compelling.

Birthday wine at SoLo. Well balanced. Stood up really well to fatty meat without being heavy.

Blueberry, blackberry, very smooth, but still some tannin. A little richness. Impressive 12 year old Rioja. Probably near end of life. Drank with O'neill's at Rioja in Denver.
