Tonight after we enjoyed a salmon, asparagus and Chardonnay dinner, we opened this 2009 Pinot from Mendocino. First sips are more like a young cab, full of smoke and leather; but after 15-20 minutes, oh la la. Light, acidic, lively, with a finish of black berries. So complex, delicious. Thankful for the experience. #winelover

not my steeze, but for a cal style chard its well balanced. nice leesy nose. a little hot. prob an awesome ager.
