A real Barolo with real acidities and tannins. The surface is sleeker than Fenocchio or Borgogno but is not over-polished. 2014 has more energy than 2011, 2012 and 2013, almost matches 2010 but not as balanced.

All the Villero 14 juice is in here. Plus some vigna rionda for the first time (young vines). A dark, classico barolo. Tarry, dark flowers and red fruits. very powerful in the palate. More than a barolo classico to me.
