Hazy garnet. The nose is a bit muted with notes of red currant, tart cherry, and white pepper. The palate is lithe and lean, tart cherries, wet stones. Finishes with a burst of heat, some spice and lingering flavors of strawberry preserves.

My only regret is that I didn't buy more when I had the chance.

Really good wine. One of our favorites. Had to order online, couldn't track down locally in CT.
