Baked grapes feint to dinner rolls, with yeasty centers, then to oceanic beach debris and cut yellow pine. Leaden blueberry, black currants, black cherry, madura wraps, black olive, black gravel, licorice dust, and back to leathery graphite and blueberry. Comes full circle, and it's Washington origins fortunately insured that it did not become a comic rendering of wine like so much of the prevailing candy juice vying for popularity in the candyland pageant.
