It's a nice wine but it drinks more like a Napa Cab than a Syrah. It has nice dark fruit and a silky mouthfeel but there's none of the meaty peppery characteristics I love about Syrah.

Drinking more like a Cab, HUGE body, big nose and tannins. Have more N&N Syrah from 2013 hoping they taste softer and truly more like a Syrah!!!

Drinking the 2013 in 2017. Deep dense rich burgundy color. Medium legs. Bouquet has notes of berry with a slightly sweet earthy finish. Soft on the tongue, with a smooth rich flavor and medium tannin. Very nice summer afternoon wine.

A truly delightful and elegant Syrah. Lovely notes of leather, clove, blackberries, blueberries, and a tantalizing scent of Sharpie as it continues stretching its legs.

I'm not a huge Syrah fan, but I did enjoy this one. Not as sweet as usual Syrah's which is good for my palate.
