This the 2015 out of barrel. Mid red fruits, blackberries, strawberries, cooked rhubarb, touch of backing spices, black earth with dry crushed rocks, good minerality.

On the nose, warm baked mixed dark berry pie. Fragrant blueberries, caramel, vanilla, strawberries, pomegranate, black licorice and loamy soils. On the palate, beautiful slightly; candied, juicy; dark cherries, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, black raspberries, black licorice & medium tannins. The mouthfeel is; rich, lush, full and amazingly beautiful. Light peppery spices, dry crushed rocks powder, black cherry cola & soft chalky minerals. It's a beautiful wine that sings in the mouth without bite or rough edges and very nice acidity. For me, this was the wine of the tasting with potential for better things going forward. Fruit doesn't lie and the Beatty fruit is very good. I look forward to trying this again after it's additional barrel age and 8+ years of bottle evolution. Barrel tasted the 2016 vintage at the Nickel & Nickel Entrecôte. Photos of the Nickel & Nickel vines, it's red rocky soil and the environment and decor of the event in their cellar.

Deep, dark Ruby coloration. On the nose, sweet blackberries, mixed berries and red licorice (think twizzlers). On the palate, medium body, dark berry, cherry, strong tannins, with a long finish of berries, cherry and vanilla.
