Very bright, very pretty red fruit (raspberry, red cherry) but overripe nor jammy. Lightly spiced, graphitey mineral, light smoke. Very pure. Light-medium bodied, very fresh acidity driving thorough very sour cherry notes, very bright and juicy, similar structure to a decent Nuits St George village wine. Good elegance, lively freshness

2011 vintage. Medium ruby hue. Ripe and round on the nose - cherry, plummy and spicy, oak spice, smokey, spirity. On the palate, warming alcohol, medium body and medium plus acidity. Medium finish. Medium minus tannins. Medium concentration of flavours: sweet spice, wood, red fruits (cherry and plum), red plums, tan leather. Overall, not bad - but I think the alcohol slightly unbalances the wine and takes away some of the delicacy of the fruit.
