
Doing 2 bottles of Nebbiolo with deep dish pizza. Popped and poured this one, decanting the other. This is firm and tight. Dark cherries and tannins like red clay. It is delicious with the sausage in the pizza.

Had hi hopes for this and it ended up just being OK: more garnet & ruby than inky with cherry aromas that started ripe then turned to sour. Earthy funky barnyard soil-y tertiary notes faded in and out on the medium bodied / medium tannin mid-palate. Quite dry on finish. There were glimpses of the Noble Nebbiolo grape but it was just a bit muddled. Still a decent wine - particularly for the price.
