Deep garnet color with a tinge of brick at edges. Very soft tannins. Blackberry and black raspberry, vanilla hint of pie spice. Was more vibrant in younger years but enjoyed thoroughly this last bottle in my cellar.

Initially it was a little muted but evolved into showing some smokiness and raisin and prune with a little cedar. On the palate some wonderful blackberry and dark raspberry with some highlights of pepper and currant. Good acid and a nice mouthfeel with a very persistent finish. Excellent Wine for smoked anything!
