Love the Spur. Dark, inky blend that has just enough tannins for my taste without sucky all the moisture off my tongue. A great go to wine. Everyone I have shared this with loves it. And a recent find at the Danville Costco!

Nicely made blend. A juicy quality; sweet, raspberries on nose, some plastic, bark. Palate not up to the nose - lacks some heft. Good though. About right at $25.

For $23 on the shelf at Safeway... this is indeed a bargain.... I wish we had this in Nebraska everyday... a treat

2nd vintage for the spur from Robbie Meyer. Smart move to put more merlot in it. Weekday drinker. Barrel sampled some of the 2017 sachau cab and the assistant winemaker says it’s richest cab they have made. I feel like overall, the 2016s are more elegant than the 2015s. Interesting to see how the 2017s end up.
