Montes Alpha first release of wine in 1988 made Montes one of the premium wineries of Chile. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (80%), Merlot (5%), Cabernet Franc (10%) and Petit Verdot (5%), very dark inky red with aromas of dark fruits, still closed and tight. On the palate blackberry and cherry with complex spice, pepper and cacao. Well balanced with good mouthfeel, soft but tight tannins on lingering finish but needs more time.

Достаточно приятный тон сладкой ягоды,немного конфитюрный тон, опять же без бомбовости, весьма свежо и чисто. Во рту достаточно деликатно, чисто, с шекловистыми танинами и деликатной кислотностью, очень бордосское в стилистике и ощущениях. Не переегружено и элегантно, с легкой горчинкой в послевкусии

Quite good aroma with balanced oak, black fruits. Taste is good balanced with smooth tanning, enough concentration with elegancy which should be created by blended with CF and so on. Completely different from other Montes single grape’s. @2250, wine plus BBQ, 190316-190318
