Love me a good St-Romain. Nose is sweet lime and lime zest. Very high toned. Some nice ripeness as well with peach and tangerine. Also some sweet red grapefruit. Outrageous nose. 9.5? What a palate. Bright! Great acidity and citric depth. Grapefruit, sweet meyer lemon, so sappy and the purity on these Rebourgeon whites is remarkable. Round as well with a lovely hit of mid-palate opulence. White flowers as well appear on the nose. Terrific focus and wow the citrus, lean citrus to be clear is just a showstopper. Brilliant stuff.
