Let it decant for 3 hours. Opened up beautifully and needs more time but wow! A phenomenal cab. Elegant power but great dark fruit with good acidity and just hedonistic. Not overly oaky but just enough. Would love to try other years

The very young ‘21 Amoenus from Maybach and Thomas Brown has many characteristics of its namesake family’s vehicles: it’s smooth, nuanced, subtly powerful and finely detailed. Inky purple with a deep, oaky nose layered with plum, blackberry and minerals. Incredibly smooth and viscous on the palate, rich with grainy tannins, wonderful dark fruits with a touch of pepper on the finish. Built to last.
