Round 2.....modestly better 24 hours later. Got more fruit and earth than yesterday, but nothing that stood out tremendously. Paired the same with pork chops and tacos. Revising up score slightly.

Pretty much a straight down the middle, average wine. Not much nose, very mild fruit, and some spice and tartness at the very end. Short finish. Oh well, they all can't be great mathematically!

Excellent combination of France and Napa! Nice earth and fruit on the nose leads to a spicy, Pinot like flavor. Love the spice and herbs, as well as earthiness as you can almost taste the dirt. Went excellent with pork chops on the lake with the entire family on vacation!!
