Took a while to open up. Very spicy with baked plums and a bit of tapenade on the nose. Still plenty of tannin but fruit starting to fade. Drink now. Preferably with me.

Every vintage I’ve had has been spectacular. The cork looked 2 years old. The wine was still tart and the tannins had softened and smoothed out. We had this elk and that paring worked very well. A delight in every way.
