2013. Cherry gum and red currant with a lil cran-violet on the nose. Ned-heavy mouthfeel with a powdery grape and cherry liqueur, some chewy tannins and a graphite outlined green streak that tightens on the end notes. Great Primitivo! Wasn't real sure about this, and it is admittedly briary, and comes off untamed, but delicious in the way a young Cahors can seem. Interesting.

Oh my what a beautiful wine! I don't think I have ever had a Primitivo before. I don't know a lot about wine except if I like it or not but I guess Primitivo is similar to Zinfandel? If so I much prefer this one it's delicious!!
