Mascota Vineyards
Unánime Signature Cabernet Sauvignon

Mascota Vineyards Unánime Signature Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Mendoza – Argentina 🇦🇷
Overview
A 100% Cabernet Sauvignon crafted by Mascota Vineyards, representing one of Argentina’s most expressive red wines at a highly approachable price point. Known for its rich, full-bodied style, it’s often compared to Napa Cabernets while keeping an unmistakable Mendoza identity.
Aromas & Flavors
Opens with layers of black cherry, blackberry, and dark plum, accented by notes of earth, eucalyptus, toasted oak, cocoa, and vanilla. Hints of baking spice, tobacco, and a touch of strawberry add extra complexity.
Mouthfeel
Dense and full-bodied with firm, silky tannins and a rich, structured texture. Balanced acidity keeps the wine lively, while a long, flavorful finish showcases both fruit and savory oak integration.
Winemaking Notes
Aged in French oak barrels, this wine builds depth and complexity without losing its fruit purity. At 6 years since harvest, it’s in a perfect drinking window, though it has the potential to age for several more years.
Food Pairing
Pairs beautifully with grilled steaks, short ribs, or lamb chops. Also excellent with aged cheeses, roasted vegetables, and hearty stews.
Verdict
A showstopper Cabernet Sauvignon from Argentina that offers Napa-like opulence at a fraction of the price. Full of personality, structure, and flavor—drink now or cellar a bit longer for even more reward.

Very very interesting. High tannins. Not really what I am personally into but would be excellent with a ribeye or a red sauce pasta dish
