
I tried one glass to a Corbin that came off as burnt a little bit of tar and like caramelization. I figured it may have been a fluke so I opened the bottle and had one glass and then I let it sit overnight and had another glass. Maybe I just got a bad bottle, but the wine tasted stewed, like it got overly hot somewhere along the process. Really comes out, crosses cooked, jam, with some unwelcome tomato flavors. I’m really thinking I got a bad bottle because it seems like this has a fault. However, if other people try this and taste the same thing maybe it was just this year, who knows.

Beau vin à la robe rubis. Un nez complexe d'olive, garrigue, réglisse, anis, thym et de prune. Wow. Pas le plus exubérant mais oh combien complexe. Les tanins sont soyeux et souples. La finale est longue. Il est à la hauteur de attentes et j'espère qu'il se bonifiera.
