I was worried that this might not have burned some of the heat out of it but enjoyed it with filet .... just Wow! Solid but not too forward fruit with velvet swirl in the mouth and lingering spice and velvet on the finish. For my palate it is at perfect drinking peak!

We have been saving this for the right time and felt a nice Christmas filet celebration would be ideal. Opened and let breath for about 1.5 hours while we prepared our feast. Beautiful purple color with ruby tint and a mild fruit but spicy nose. Very sweet front end with ripe fruit and medium-full pepper and spicy yet light finish. Very nice with the meal however a little too sweet for our taste.
