Deep ruby; medium intensity aromas of black and red plum, black cherry, underbrush, subtle baking spices; dry, medium acid, medium ripe tannins, high alcohol, full body, medium intensity flavors consistent with aromas; medium finish, only moderately complex

Smells lovely - finessed fruits

Classic Cali wine here - precise fruits, Cherry, raspberry, crab apple. Focused, with little (thankfully) of that new oak vanillin. Gripping tannins play well with the cran acidity. Lingers on for a loooong time.
11th anniversary wine for me, and the Mrs.

Quite nice.

Very good, had the sweeter taste like Caymus.

Color of dark purple. Nose of nice black cherry, tobacco leaves, strength of alcohol, vanilla, and ripe grapes. Taste follows the nose with the addition of oak, refined tannins, a bit charcoal and hickory, just a bit tiny sweetness, and more ripe grapes. Aftertaste is clean with more oak and wood like cedar note. Clean, quite silky, packed with flavors, and enjoyable.

A fine Cabernet; dry, very smooth, balanced and just enough tannin to leave a pleasant texture on the tongue. A sophisticated richness making for a delicious sipping beverage.

Tasty cab, some red fruits but a bitter cherry note stuck out. Overall a pleasant drink.

Paired with a 2+ inch Paisanos porterhouse like a boss
