Interesting German red, a fair blend

Good bouquet - followed by a ride that just touches licorice mountain before diving down into a strong cloud of alcohol and then a plunge into chocolate/tobacco hinted field. Seated next to you for the entire time is the company of some fresh, young red fruit hanging forward in the straps on the ride. Good bottle - overall it has some punch, so take consideration in pairing. Meat would be better then pasta. Cheers!
