I think some might have issue with German Pinot noir but they are great. Distinct. This was super pungent on the nose but if you give it time it blows off and becomes a lovely creature with delicate but smokey notes, persistent acidity and sweet fruit. I haven't had a lot of German Pinot noir but they usually lean to the lighter side and this one leaves a belly warming pleasing feeling that shows it's not a weak creature.
