Napa Valley Merlot

Back to basic with a pure bottle of merlot. Smooth and rounded indeed. Just run s down your mouth like silk. Tart apple and plum, but all under the overcast of a distinct peppery note. Lots of toasted oak in street taste. Almost like caramel nuts. Medium to high tannin

Decent average Merlot with plummy notes.

Tastes like a well made California Merlot. You really can’t expect better for the price. You’d be hard pressed to find better for twice the price, honestly. Fruity but not sweet. Hint of bourbon. Easy buy

One of the best $10 wines we've had: Trader Joe's

A nose of blueberry, blackberry and oak. The palate is raspberry jelly with a slightly rough finish. One of the better $10 wines I've had.

It was okay. Too vanilla for me.

Nice Merlot. Nothing particularly noteworthy good or bad.

Nothing special, slightly smooth but still tastes like a $10 bottle of wine. Has a fruity undertone and a little too much vanilla. Not sure if I would buy again. Maybe for a dinner party to impress my friends with the "Napa Valley" label? Ehh

Paired great with dinner. Love the toasted oak flavors in this wine, as well as the well rounded notes.
