Jun 16th, 2019Tight and Tannic on open, as it warmed and caught some air over an hour it developed nicely in the glass. Leather and earth on the nose. Big time cherry on the palate. Fun to see it evolve during the evening. Home at last!

Definitely one of the better youthful Chianti's that I've tasted. Juicy cherry, earth, leather, and a bit of strawberry. Still more primary at this stage but very enjoyable.

Color of purple, ruby and brown coffee on the rim. Nose of flowering, oak, subtle dark fruit, but quite dull. Taste of nice oak, raisin, fresh juicy grapes, low tannins, tobacco leaves, a bit of zest, peppery, and a bit of black tea. Aftertaste of some spice and refined, medium long. Her taste surpasses the nose. She is at her peak and enjoy.
