Medium Ruby with aromas of jammy dried fruits and sweet baking spice. On the palate dried black cherry, blackberry jam, tobacco and licorice flavors. Full body, medium acidity and soft tannins, well balanced, long finish ending with vanilla and pepper spice and a bit of warming alcohol. Drinks well now. Tasting Sample.

Favorite so far

Nose of mixed, stewed fruits, with a bit more blackberry. Complex nose. Vanilla and exotic spices. Dry and medium tannins. Cedar, cigar box, baking spices, horehound, and even a flash of bubble gum. Quite complex and a delight.

2nd overtime wine from Friday night wine club; Amarone... always good. If you wanna bring something to the table that is consistently good, bring Amarone

Loved this wine. Very complex, cherries and Tabasco on the nose. Super dry and tannic. Reasonably priced for this type of wine. Would love to have again.

Sweet and spicy. Black cherries and a hint of licorice.
