Lovely perfume on the nose that exudes crushed gravel, menthol, cherries, dried tobacco leaf. A little austere on the palate in its youth, but I suspect it’s rounding out years are not too far ahead.

Very approachable with Chinese food. Nice balance of ripeness, acidity and tannin.
