01 carillon bbm. Nose of potpourri spice & matchsticks. Palate is pineapple cake topped with lemon zest. There's a fleshy mouthfeel to this wine but has enough minerality to make it so clean on the finish. Really different. Really special.

Honey, spiced apple pie, golden fruit. Beautifully rich stuff. Nice structure upon opening, and incredible on the palate. The 2002 vintage of this wine was one of my all-time favorites. This vintage was more opulent and expansive. Started to fade into cornflake zone after hour two.
