Rising Tides Paso Robles Syrah Blend

Bought a case of this from Matt (winemaker) in 2008 when their tasting room was more of a shack. This is the last of the vintage and it’s just so good. A lot going on in this bottle still. Complex and earthy. Glad we waited!

Wonderful birthday wine with our ribeye steak. Tannins are subdued and the wonderful rich fruit is ascendant.

Nice. Medium bodied. Very fruity. Black currant.

Nice fruit blend, nice balance, limited after taste. Delicious with 7 kinds of cheese mac and Kobe sliders

Consumed on a 23-day cruise

Red of the night.

So yummy.

Great structure and balance.

At Bobo's with steak. Both so good. Great wine. Hard to say exceptional but so consistent all around.
