Price $12.

Dark ruby in color with a short brick rim.

Fruity nose of cherries, raspberries, plums, oak, licorice, spices, chocolates, smoke, heavy bell pepper, green vegetables, herbs, earth, graphite and peppercorn.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with plums, black currants, raspberries, earth, green vegetables, beef jerky, cloves, spices, coffee and peppercorn.

Medium plus in finish with soft tannins and bitter herbs.

This California Cabernet is still young, but drinking nicely now with lots of earthy notes. Almost balanced, with mild complexity and a soft mouthfeel. Simple and too bitter on the ending for my taste. A good everyday red wine, though.

Better with food than just by itself. needs 6 months to a year in the bottle to mature. (Very earthy and green right now).

I paired it with a cheese plate and assorted dried meats.

Better after 90 minutes in a decanter.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

For an inexpensive wine it's delicious!! Notes of blackberry and plum with a nice lasting finish. Happy National Wine Day! 🍷

Can’t remember much but wouldn’t save the bottle of it was bad. Fine for dinner during the week.

Enjoyed this immensely! Great without food because it's a little sweet, or paired with bitter chocolate 😊

The sink didn’t complain when I poured this one in to dispose of it. My palate, however did. This was such a disappointment. The 2014 was a great value (though not quite as good as their Pinot Noir, which was extraordinary in 2014.). I don’t know what happened to the 2015 vintage, but the Pinot Noir was not up to par, and this, the Cabernet, was completely unsatisfactory. Down the drain it went.
