Rich and powerful tropical fruit bomb but very well made. Not really my style but it was a delightful pairing with our Christmas Day crab boil! Fans of this style would swoon.

2013 Lewis Chardonnay Barcaglia - Voluptuous Chardonnay with aromas and flavors of ripe golden delicious apples, nectarine, Bartlett pear, Creme brûlée, white flowers and wet stone. Complex and well balanced, with a very long finish.

I thought the 2012 was special, this has all that same goodness with a much smoother finish. This is right in my wheelhouse and,in my opinion, can go against the really big boys.
