Color of purple, quite dense. Nose of cocoa plus dark fruits, hint of caramel sweetness, and some strawberry. Sweet fruity oriented. Taste follows the nose with addition of mellow tannins, some more refined sweetness, a bit Syrah type of mouthful. A bit peppery in the after taste. Smooth, no edge, crowd pleaser.
