Citrus and Stonefruit with well balanced high quality French Oak. Probably the best QPR of any Aussie Chardonnay being the 2nd cuvée of the famous Leeuwin Art Series. Going to compare this with the 2015 Louis Jadot Macon Villages. This had more body, more complexity and interest than the Macon. Tasted again 102 weeks later on 21 August 2019 with consistent Notes.

Intense nose of Stone Fruit and minerality which is reflected on the medium + intensity palate. A luscious mouth filling palate with a long finish. Best QPR Chardonnay at around $30 in Australia IMO.

V16. Beautiful wine. Soft oak nose. Pear, Apple ,apricot & Meyer lemon fruit. Crisp, bright limestone finish.

A complex, yet very well balanced Chardonnay. The spicy wood is there, so is the acid and great ripe fruit. At a 1/3 of the price of its big sister it's a ripper.
