Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Corvina Blend

So delicious- love this Amarone.

Very dark and dense. Honestly not something I typically but from a technical standpoint it’s a very good wine. In terms of age it has moved well beyond the primary flavors already. Probably could stand many more years but I think it’s showing cool now.

Big dark fruit with a hint of dark chocolate, long luscious finish.

Caitlin's graduation - wine #3 of the night. My first Amarone--why haven't I tried these yet? Holy cow I'm a fan. This was a close second for me. Vibrant fruits, silky tannins, just full bodied enough, nice long finish. Will buy this again. Stood up extremely well next to the reigning champ, the #Arkenstone

Perfume smell, lots of acid, great pomegranate raspberry strawberry combo, thick body, totally packed with flavor, huge bite, taste the aromas, smell is so strong

Chocolate tannic carpet ride

Kirsch, baked plum, cocoa, green peppercorn and a big boozy blast of rum. Plush & supple with fine, persistent tannins. Give the PLCB credit where it's due: this is really good Amarone at a great price.
