Sagacious Paso Robles Grenache Blend

The GSM of the family offering. Still very tight and young. Needed time to express itself. Opened up over time.

Paso gsm at its finest

2011 Vintage. 38% Syrah, 34% Mourvèdre, 28% Grenache. Another 11 GSM blend from Paso Robles. More Grenache than last night’s Torrin. Blackberry nose and big fruit taste. 16.1% alcohol, but not hot.

Nice texture and finish. Huge nose of creosote and ripe fruit. Classic for those who like huge, ripe Paso Wines

Has a bit of spice to it, but goes great with the fantastic food at Central in DC!

Lovely.

This bottle seemed to retain its alcoholic heat a bit longer than the previous bottle. Serving around 62° seems to tame its bite.
