Today it tasted very different and it felt kind of restraint. Nose not showing the beautiful black / red fruit bouquet that made me felt in love with this wine. Very good don't get me wrong but not at this price range.

A very good Rhone style wine. Dark fruit and smooth on the palate. Long finish. Lots of life yet, but enjoyable now.

A little one dimensional from what I remember. Perhaps a bit dormant right now. Still enjoyable.

Pretty good but not up to the 2009 vintage. Still a bit closed I think because it seemed best after being open for about 1 hr, tasted more fruity and relaxed, finish improved.

I know I'm "supposed" to like this, but it just wasn't my thing... I tasted it immediately after pulling the cork and then multiple times thru the evening out of the decanter and was never really that impressed with it. Tons of great, sweet oak. Firm, well (almost perfect) integrated tannins. Nice, surprisingly good acidity. But where's the fruit???? Especially out of a high end Paso GSM!
