Apr 15th, 2018Really great. Not showing her age at all. Plenty of dark fruit and smoke / game up front. Integrated tannins and nice acidity. Plus finish with sweet red fruit. Over several hours the smoke dissipated off but the fruit remained.

Quite juicy with black cherry and black olive and good acidity. Hard to believe this is 14 years old - it tastes so young.

Would show well in a Northern Rhone tasting. Hints of dark fruit, earth and wet dog. Flavors of dark fruits, olives and earth are well integrated. Beautiful mouthfeel.
