A lovely balance of fruit and earth, matched both my wife's oven-roasted turkey and my smoked turkey, plus the trimmings.

In a serious groove now. Super aromatic. Spice, tea, earth, light cherry fruit. Elegant and sweet fruit with chalky tannins and a bit more time to open up but glorious. Man did this open up and became profound. Spice, sweet fruit, limestone minerality. Amazing length. Sweet sweet fruit. So Volnay.

Nose: library dust. Lilacs.

Palate: very old school burgundy. Still tannic. Elegant early season cherry fruit.

A bit unyielding.

Wow. Still dark and not shy with the black tea tannins, but super smooth, well-integrated, and delicious with the remains of dark fruits and tons of length

Dark fruit. Lacking terroir

Drinking beautifully. No hard edges to this wine.
