Sample. Medium garnet red. Layered nose with a little bit of dirtiness from the forest floor and a little smoky on the top. Underneath were some fire wood, red berries and purple flowers. Moderate acidity (6.5/10) and tannins (6/10) with a medium plus body. Great structure built up by the acidity with some tart red cherries, bramble berries and wood. Undertones of chalk and rose petals. Very well balanced and long dry finish. Great value and this is just their entry level Pinot. Drink till 2022.

Decent wine , not too over oaked. Great finish that holds for a bit with some mid level acid not usually seen for Sonoma Chardonnay to me.
