Nicely put together, no signs of age. Fresh apricot, peach core. Sexy texture.

I enjoyed this wine but it didn't show as nicely as other I have had in past. For me, this is in the window to drink. Good citrus fruit with a healthy dose of vanilla.

2008 is in excellent shape. Good minerality with enough fruit so you know you have a Calif Chard rather than a white Burgundy. Good acid so should be ok for a few more years.

I think the Judge is an extraordinary Chard. Great balance with a minerality that is more classic White Burgundy than Calif Chard. Along with Kistler McCrea and Peter Michael, among my favorite Cali Chards
