Really fine Pinot. Nose skies out of the glass. Moist earth, sweet spices, tangy, rich black cherry juice, a bit of sweet, high-toned smoke. In the mouth it’s so flavorful yet seems to float. Very pure, tangy flavors that cling. Very little tannin. Seemingly still pretty youthful.

Intense, nose-tinglingly vibrant dark cherry fruit, along with a cinnamon-like spice note and some forest floor soil notes. Soft and mouthfilling. Almost no tannin, but bright acids. Clearly a short-term drinker. Very earthy. Lots of sous-bois. Distinctive.

Sappy, piercingly-tangy cherries, pine forest floor, some crushed rock. Both rich and tangy in the mouth, with a pronounced humus note. Lot of character.

Raspberry, cherry, bubblegum and savoury herbs on the nose. Lingering cherry on the palate, cranberry and blackberry, spectacular intensity. Very very lovely- exquisite example of California Pinot. Happy I’ve got several more bottles!
