Magnum 2006 Kistler Cuvee Catherine Occidential Station Vineyard PN. First pair of red at house dinner w A&C BG, MR&GR after Champagne trip. Tried this alongside the magnum 2006 Marcassin Blue-Slide Ridge PN. This was similarly sweet on the nose, but might have had a slightly more nuanced flavor and complexity than the Marcassin. Delicious!

Absolutely positively stupid good. This is the epitome of American Pinot noir. 2006 Vintage cuvée Catherine. Gently and carefully cellared since bottling. If it gets any better than this I will be in heaven.
