Very dark purple, almost black, medium+ viscosity on the eye. Moves to fuchsia toward rim, no sediment. Nose sees dark, stewed blackberries, cherries, and blue berries, vanilla/oak, some grass, green bell pepper, little bit of funk as well. Palette sees ripe cherries, a very healthy dose of dry tannins. I'd let this one sit a few more years- plenty of life left, but was pretty damn good after being open a few days in the fridge.
