Rich cherry, spiced and potpourri-like, a bit bitey but in a pleasant piquant way.

Definitely needed a decant but after a few hours this really opened up into a wonderful CA take on a Rhone GSM. Rich, dark fruit mingled with spice/pepper and a bit earthy (but not in a bad way). High tannins so definitely give it some time. Overall I really enjoyed this.

Amazing GSM - Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre - rich and so drinkable, hard to get the Keplinger out east

Started out with quite a tannic bite, but after 2 hours in the decanter, this wine turned into a luxuriously rich, powerful and complex wine. At that point, tart cherries appeared on the palate along with a wonderfully subtle earthy quality. Went great with a NY Strip.
