Pleasant and tasty sipper. Off dry with good balance and well made, pleasant dollop of toasty oak and hints of butter. Good table wine, but perhaps a better cocktail, cheese or wine for watching a sunset. Good value and very varietally correct. Used for Intro to good and wine pairing class.

Maybe. If you're cooking. And you hate your guests. Otherwise, stay the heck away. Overly sweet and lacking balance. Oak notes overwhelm any hint of subtle notes in a low grade production.

There was a time where I would have said that KJ chard was my favorite white wine. I will give it smooth, slightly buttery & easy to drink, but beyond that it's not really anything special. Now, I find it very difficult to justify the cost for the quality & the only time I would ever drink it is if I was dining at a place with a limited wine selection.
