Interesting. Alcohol is a bit prominent, oak a bit pronounced and there's a very evident lactic quality to it. The grape's usual delicate jasmine tea aromatics are a bit muted amidst all the richness. Which all sounds like pejoratives but, in the end, the wine itself is voluptuous and delicious and quite more-ish so goes to show it's the end result rather than dogmatic ideals that really matter with wine.
