Dark red to violet with transparent outer rim (about 1/4 inch). Aromas: dark chocolate, cocoa, shades of wet leaves and dirt, feels sweet. Taste/structure: well structure, soft tannins, shades of dark bitter chocolate, a touch of black fruits, prune, spicy in the end. A bit earthy finish, with a touch of bitterness.
Very enjoyable, well balanced.

Smokey and earthy, but not overly so. The Bonarda definitely shows through with red fruit. Solid wine, excellent price.

Predominantly full rich Malbec flavor with medium tannins but offset with cherry forward non-Malbec blends. Boysenberry on the finish. Very versatile enjoyable wine. Excellent value. 2012 vintage
